The second program of week of delight was a sports day conducted in Chennai corporation school, Alwarpet with a strength of 100 students from grade 1 to grade 5. All the students were made to participate in a variety of games conducted according to their age group.
Running race, lemon and spoon and sack race were conducted to children of all age group. Special games like frog race, balloon bursting and in-n-out were conducted to first and second grade children. The students were also encouraged to bring out their talent in drawing and coloring.The students showed their involvement by participating in the games with interest and enthusiasm.
The children were amazed with entranced magic show which made each and every child to roar with laughter. The winners of the games were rewarded with gifts which were attractive as well as advantageous. The collection of gifts include pencil boxes, writing pads, water bottles and lunch boxes .Finally every child in the school were given a goodie of chocolates and pen pencil set.
