As the New Year day symbolizes the beginning of a better tomorrow, so does UHF organized a charitable feeding program for the impoverished and needy people on 1st January, 2012. A food pack containing Sambar rice and Curd rice was distributed to the most deserving people belonging to different categories like physically challenged, visually disabled and tzigane group. The best part of the program was the most meritorious people were found from different places of the city which covered a stretch from Guindy to Triplicane. Thus the one day program came to an end with a fulfilling responsibility of serving the less fortunate people with a good food for at least a single day.
